WSSC 5656 - Laurel, MD - U.S. Benchmarks on Waymarking.com

Waymark is atop the (approximately) 3' high cement base for a light pole in the parking lot of the Fairland Sports and Aquatics Center. Pole is the closest one to Old Gunpowder Road and is labeled number 23. Mark is co-located with geocache GC7T7EP, which is how I chanced upon it.

Mark is not documented in the geocaching.com benchmark database nor the NGS database. Location is within Prince George's County, Maryland; I could find no county database of benchmarks. I found no corresponding datasheet in any soure.

Mark is in excellent condition.
