The Moore Mausoleum's most striking feature is the almost "wood-like" panels on the front. The door is bound by two columns and the name MOORE appears above the door.

Originally called "Potters Field" because it was the burial site of many unknown and poor. The city of Galveston landscaped it with oleander trees and so it became known as Oleander Cemetery.

With no information other than MOORE FAMILY VAULT on Find A Grave. (visit link)

The NRHP Nomination form for the Broadway Cemetery Historic District specifically mentions this structure as a contributing building and even has a photo, unfortunately it does not provide information about it's history or owner.
