This is a beautifully kept park and playground (possibly kept by the local Apex Club). "Galleon Park is located on the west side of Corryong just before you reach the centre of town. It features a large wooden galleon (sailing ship) for the kids to play on, along with swings, slides and other play equipment, which will all keep the kids entertained for hours. The park also offers public toilets, rubbish bins and three sets of tables and chairs." [ex-Playground link.] The modular Playground is surrounded by moderately fine wood-chips. There is a plastic covered chain Cargo Net, as an alternative to get to a platform, instead of taking a wooden suspension bridge. One item I hadn't seen before was a Spring Bouncer made as a locust, with stainless steel antenna.
From the Playgroun the access 'boarding ramp' for the HMAS Resolution becomes noticeable, and children are able to explore and run around on it to their hearts content.
