The light on top of the KWWJ radio tower -- the middle of three towers within the antenna farm by Spur 330 and Baker Rd in Baytown, Texas -- is a NGS benchmark ("AW6245")

As described by the CGS in 1952:
"THE STATION IS LOCATED ABOUT 2 MILES NORTHWEST OF BAYTOWN, 200 FEET NORTH OF DECKER DRIVE AND 150 FEET EAST OF A MACADAM ROAD. IT IS A STEEL STRUCTURE SET IN CEMENT WITH AN OVERALL HEIGHT OF 218 FEET. THE LIGHT AT THE TOP WAS THE POINT OBSERVED."
The CGS description -- including overall shape and height -- is still correct, but the street references might need a little updating: Decker Drive is now also known as Spur 330, while Macadam Rd was renamed to Baker Rd. The benchmark in question -- the light on top of the mast -- is still there.
The NGS' currently posted coordinates ("N 29 46 29.42035 W 095 00 55.80236", or "N 29° 46.490 W 95° 00.930") were in line with my observations while on site.
The station was recovered in good condition: the light is still clearly visible (see waymark gallery). Interestingly enough, the USPSQD marked this station as 'not found' back in 1997, even though it's clearly still there. This is the same mast -- and location of the light -- as it was back in 1942, only the radio station has changed: it is now KWWJ (for "Keep Walking With Jesus", a gospel station) instead of KREL. There are 3 masts on this open field, and the station in question is located on top of the middle (center) mast.
