As described by the NGS in 1954 (although already monumented by the CGS in 1942):
"0.95 MI N FROM CEDAR BAYOU. 0.95 MILE NORTH ALONG AN OILED ROAD FROM THE ASSEMBLY OF GOD CHURCH AT CEDAR BAYOU, 0.3 MILE SOUTH OF THE TEXAS AND NEW ORLEANS RAILROAD, 12 FEET WEST OF THE CENTER LINE OF AN OILED ROAD, SET IN THE TOP OF THE SOUTH END OF THE WEST HEADWALL OF A CONCRETE CULVERT."
Save for the reference of the Assembly of God Church (which is no longer there, or has been renamed since then), the NGS description is still very accurate. The BM is embedded in a concrete culvert on the west side of Crosby Cedar Bayou Road right where it crosses the same-named bayou. The disk is on the southern end of the culvert, a few inches north of the culvert's protective wall.
The NGS' currently posted coordinates ("N 29 46 17.22 W 094 56 27.18", or "N 29° 46.284 W 94° 56.453") were slighty off, and were based on previous geocacher's recovery back in 2015: my measurements were actually N 29° 46.284 W 94° 56.453, based on readings within 10' accuracy and 10+ reading averages... and differ by ~18 feet from NGS' current posting.
The station was recovered in decent condition... The disk is somewhat cratched but still legible.
