Cornerstone of the former Our Lady of the Rosary Roman Catholic Church in what was once Walkerville, now part of Windsor, Ontario.
The cornerstone was laid in 1907 , but construction was not completed until 1913.
The church was originally known as Our Lady of the Lake and Notre Dame du Lac. It served predominantly French-speaking parishioners, most of who worked for the nearby Ford plant.
The church closed in 2007 due to declining attendance and skyrocketing upkeep costs. the property was sold and is now the Water's Edge Event Centre.
The church, which dominates the skyline, is located at 2879 Riverside Drive East in Windsor.
