This metal, but not mechanical, Bull Letterbox, is made of various five gallon or 20 litre drums for the body, with smaller tins, or buckets being used for the head and jaw. Sundry sheet-metal is bent tightly for the four legs, and great effort put in for the hollow and curving horns. Some silver tinsel is wrapped around the horns (and metal ears), possibly a remnant from Christmas-time. A curved piece of steel rod is welded onto the upper jaw as a 'nose-ring', to give better grip when opening the mouth to put the mail in.

Parts of it have been painted, but there are also sections displaying the original base colours of the drums used.

Address: 293 Fernleigh Road, Fernleigh, NSW, 2479, Australia.
(One of the photos shows not only the address number on the Letterbox post but also on the wooden post next to the driveway.)
