The Southlands Rectifier Station was continued to serve the trolleybus network since 1948. However, before that, it has been providing 600 volts of electricity to the streetcar system.

Located at Dunbar Loop the Southlands Rectifier Station is active use serving the trolleybuses of Vancouver. Opened in the 1930s this substation is a concrete art deco styled building.
