Relative Size & Amenities:
This is a pretty large location, with a high ceiling to make it appear even larger. There are some comfy chairs up front, with chair/table seating down one wall, and upholstered benches and chairs with tables down the center of the store. Unique in my experience is a Starbucks Reserve Bar, which has a menu and even the offer of coffee flights! One can simply have a seat here on one of the stubby bar stools and enjoy something fancy, and the barista will serve as a bartender, even giving you a glass of water if you need it.

If you're looking for a place to plug in your gadgets, look down, as it's fairly likely you'll find something nearby.

Outside is plenty of seating, as there are other shops and restaurants here. Best of luck with parking, especially during peak hours, as you're at the lower end of Uptown Dallas here, and it's pretty high class as it is: Plenty of valet parking to be found, and if you have to ask how much the underground parking is, you probably need an American Express card to pay for it.

Review:
This was a nice surprise, even if I was probably the only guy in a t-shirt and shorts, prepared to say "It's OK, fancy pants, I'm from Grosse Pointe Woods, I've seen ostentatious displays of money before." Very busy, consistently so, but when I saw the Starbucks Reserve bar, I had to bypass the regular line and have a seat. Arthur took great care of me, offering a suggestion on a Clover Reserve that would work as an iced coffee. I got a glass (a real glass) of the Indonesia West Java, and was surprised that, unlike so many other plain iced coffees, this wasn't bitter at all, very low acidity. Nice and earthy, with a hint of berry, and I simply sat and enjoyed it while I people watched. I'm very impressed, and will have to make certain that Mrs. QDV gets to visit. Today, she got double points as I enjoyed a walk through Dallas.
