Located on the west edge of the Jones downtown area, this old station is on the southwest corner of Main and S.W. 1st Street. As you drive through the town, this building shouts "Phillips 66" due to its design with a sharply peaked roof and cross gable over the entrance. The building is small, constructed of brick, which has been painted several times over the years, and is in need of paint at this time. Two 6 over 6 double hung windows face the front, with an entrance and window bricked up on the east side. A sheet metal roof has replaced the original shingles.
The pumps are long gone, but the station has been reborn and houses Longhorn Leather, an outlet which does all types of leather construction and repair, including saddles, tack, shoe repair, upholstery, etc.).
