Bustu Aloise Jiráska zhotovil akademický sochar Jan Štursa, její slavnostní dohalení probehlo 6. srpna 1922.
Busta spocívá na kamnném podstavci.
Alois Jirásek (August 23, 1851 Hronov - March 12, 1930 Prague) was a Czech novelist, playwright and politician, author of many historical novels and a representative of realism.
