Bedrich Smetana (2 March 1824 Litomyšl - 12 May 1884 Prague ) was a significant Czech composer of the Romantic period.
Sandstone bust from the workshop of sculptor Jan Štursa, inaugurated on July 20, 1924.
Under the bust on the pedestal there is the inscription "Monument to Bedrich Smetana Ceské luhy a háje".
