The Maughold Graveyard is located a short distance south-west of Kirk Maughold and was opened once the churchyard cemetery became full.

The graveyard contains approximately 300 graves which are aligh roughly east to west inside the rectangular graveyard which runs roughly north to south. The cememtry is surrounded by a stone boundary wall.

The cemetery contains a number of dedicated benches and a selection of headstones in many different styles.

The Garden of Remembrance was dedicated by the Bishop of Sodor and Man on 11th May 1979. Within the Garden is a memorial cross for Cannon W.G.S. Duckworth and his wife Muriel. The ashes of both the late Cannon and his wife are buried in the Garden.

The graveyard like the churchyard cemetry is maintained by the Maughold Burial Authority a copy of their rules and regulations are posted by the side of both entrances.
