Now home to a travel agency, a coffee house and an insurance agency, this corner originally housed a drugstore and a Firestone tire dealer. When the original picture was taken, Main Street carried Highways 60, 70 and 80. Cars ruled at the time. Main street now carries a light rail line and the old highways have been decommissioned. As cars fade from the scene Main has become more pedestrian friendly and this stretch of downtown is returning to life.
