Excerpts from The Baytown Sun"Citizens State Bank opened in 1920 in the Henry Cathriner building at Pearce and Commerce. The bank moved to the corner to Texas and Ashbel in a building erected by the late Price Pruett, in 1924 and the name was changed to Citizens State Bank and Trust.
Just before WWII the bank moved to this location at 313 W. Texas.
The bank moved from this location to 1300 Rollingbrook Drive in 1992. In 2000 it was acquired by Southwest Bank of Texas and was rename "Baytown Branch".
