"According to grave lists, 136 known and approximately 1,500 unknown Soviet prisoners of war and 1 unknown Albanian are resting on this cemetery.
Of the original 751 buried in the cemetery Italian military internees, who died mostly of tuberculosis, 29 were exhumed in the summer of 1955 and transferred to Italy. In April 1958, the exhumation of the other Italians took place; 674 were reburied on the Italian honorary cemetery in Hamburger-Öjendorf, 48 transferred to Italy."
