A wooden board walk on a footpath on the climb from Ballure Reservoir to The Gooseneck on the Isle of Man TT Course.
The path climbs steeply up the lower slopes of North Barrule and skirts the edge of the Ballure Plantation. The path runs roughly parallel with the A18 main road which forms part of the Isle of Man TT Course.
The Gooseneck is an excellent spot to watch both the Isle of Man TT and the Manx Grand Prix motorcycle races as the spectators can watch the bikes from a slightly elevated position and when their speeds are relatively low.
This board walk carries the path over a patch of swampy, boggy ground.
Approximate boardwalk length (feet): 35
What is the boardwalk over?: Swampy, boggy ground.
Boardwalk material: Wood
