The Tyler Mowry House is a significant example of Federal domestic
architecture which exhibits a level of architectural sophistication and quality more typically found in urban areas than in rural northern Rhode Island. No changes or alterations of any significance have been made to
this house since it was originally built, including modernization of any kind. it is uniquely uanltered on the exterior and on the interior.
