This memorial is located in downtown Wellston at 318 E. 2nd, where a building previously stood. On a circular concrete patio, four tall vertical granite monuments stand, arranged like spokes on a wheel. There are two granite benches facing the engraved names. The monuments facing the street read:

The two monuments behind these two have the names of veterans in alphabetical order, with * next to those killed in action. There are approximately 350 names listed. On the metal sidiing of the building next door is a painted silhouette of the raising of the flag at Iwo Jima.
