The sandstone monument located at the church in village Skrben near Olomouc was originally dedicated to the fallen 27 fellow-citizens during the Great War (1914-1918). It was erected here in 1919. It consists of massive plinth with stone obelisk made of sandstone, to which the semicircular shaped steps lead. At the front part of the obelisk there is a plaque made of polished black granite with engraved gold names of the 29 victims of World War I. In the head of the obelisk is a relief emblem of Czechoslovak statehood. At the top of the obelisk is a flying eagle. In front of the obelisk stands a stone statue of a grieving woman.
After World War II, two other black granite plagues were added with names of fellow citizens fallen during the War.
