St Michael and St Wulfad's Church has extensive grassed area and the memorial stands some way from the church itself.

There is an inscription and list of names on one of the faces of the base of the cross, with names on two other sides. The fourth side was added afetr the Second World War and lists names of the dead from that war.

All the lettering has faded and is unreadable so the details have been taken from this website
