The grave of Dr. Thomas Langrell is marked by a beautifully carved brownstone grave marker depicting a winged cherub. The marker has a marble inset which contains part of the inscription. The marker is inscribed:

Drowned in the glory of his years
And left his mate
to drown herself in tears.
