This is a Colorbond-clad building, with a low-pitched Colorbond roof. There is a concrete driveway out to Gladstone Street from the double-wide panel-lift door. Atypically, there was an LED display on the western side of the building, which was messaging: "From everyone at Glenrowan CFA", "Merry Xmas & Happy New Year"; also giving the Time, Temperature, and Call Outs - "19:54 28°C, Turnouts 55". A bronze plaque to the left of the door told that the Fire Station building was opened on 23 August, 1992.
[Glenrowan is most commonly known in Australia for the fact that the notorious Ned Kelly had a shoot-out here.]
