While the body of the Catholic Church was built in 1881, the extension, creating the northern transept (creating an extra entrance/exit) has this Foundation Stone, which was brought from Ireland, and probably a granite. It is surrounded with a brick edging, and directly above the tablet are several smaller pieces of the same type of rock, concreted together.
