EN: This stone sculpture stands in front of the building of the Basellandschaftliche Kantonalbank on the main street in Reinach.
It consists of a large granite cube, which has a slightly convex shape. This cuboid stands on two other granite elements, a round column and a square with a round hole. The whole sculpture is about two and a half meters high.
Unfortunately, I could not find out anything about the artist and the time of creation. The bank building was built in the early 1970s and renovated in the mid-1990s, from this time the sculpture could originate, too.
DE: Diese Steinskulptur steht vor dem Gebäude der Basellandschaftlichen Kantonalbank an der Hauptstrasse in Reinach.
Sie besteht auf einem grossen Granitquader, der eine ganz leicht konvexe Form hat. Dieser Quader steht auf zwei anderen Granitelementen, einer runden Säule und einem Quadrat mit einem runden Loch. Die ganze Skulptur ist etwa zweieinhalb Meter hoch.
Leider konnte ich nichts über den Künstler und die Entstehungszeit herausfinden. Das Bankgebäude wurde in den frühen 1970er Jahren gebaut und in der Mitte der 1990er renoviert, aus dieser Zeit könnte auch die Skulptur stammen.
