Heritage Foundation source:
Located in the heart of the village of Vérines, the Notre-Dame-de-l'Assomption church dates back to most of the 18th century, but corresponds to a progressive reconstruction of the primitive medieval building. It presents today important disorders, which require a restoration of magnitude. In a first step, the Municipality of Vérines undertakes the most urgent work, which is the rehabilitation of the arms of the transept and the sacristy. We accompany him in this project, which is part of a large program of development of the town center and enhancement of communal heritage.

The parish church, which opens to the west by a bell tower built in the early twentieth century, has a Latin cross plan. Inside, it offers a vast volume covered by ceilings and plaster vaults. It houses a furniture ensemble of remarkable coherence, consisting of a pulpit, benches, stalls, side altars and a tribune, and hosts in the choir murals of the twentieth century.
