On May 21, 1959, it was decided to entrust the contract for the construction of a new church to Mr. Camille Rioux of Rimouski.
The church Saint-Yves is closed and has been sold.
Saint-Yves' Church
After three years of intense work and major transformations, the Saint-Yves church in Rimouski became "La maison de mon père", a lively gathering place, up-to-date and accessible to all.
Purchased at an auction in 2013 at a cost of $ 63,000 while it was in decay and in default of payment of taxes by its first purchaser, the Saint-Yves church becomes a jewel of the district of Rimouski-East which will no doubt make the residents of this sector and all other users proud.
