This theater was originally opened in 1920 as the Rialto. It operated under that name until 1957, at which time it became the Redland Theater. This is a one-screen theater with 703 seats.

We were unable to determine when the theater ceased operating. We found a photo showing that in 2001 it was occupied as a beauty shop. More recently it was occupied by Resolution Apparel and Printing Co. The building is currently vacant.

This is a two-story building located at 608 Frisco Avenue. The upper level has a stucco veneer and four windows. The ground floor has a black tile veneer. The ticket booth is located outside facing the sidewalk. The entrance is two glass doors, flanked by two side lights on each side. There is a two-sided marquee, and a vertical neon sign reading "REDLAND".
