FR Les transformateurs EDF sont moches, très moches mais heureusement, la mode est de les repeindre pour les rendre plus sympathiques.

La Tour du Mont d'Or
La Tour du Mont d'Or est une ancienne tour de guet au Sud-Est de l'ancien château de Manosque, située sur le territoire de la commune de Manosque dans le département des Alpes-de-Haute-Provence.
Le Mont d’Or est un ancien castrum (espace habité sur les hauteurs avec des bastides, des terres agricoles, des églises, des moulins…) explicitement mentionné dans la seconde Charte des Privilèges concédés par Guillaume IV de Forcalquier (1207). La tour d’une hauteur de 17m représente les vestiges de l’ancien donjon, elle est exposée à tous les vents d’où son nom « Mont d’Or » qui s’écrivait autrefois « Mont d’Aure » (du provençal auro qui signifie « vent »).
Au sommet de cette colline on peut voir cette tour mais tout autour, aujourd'hui, ce sont des champs d'oliviers.

Situé au pied de la colline, ce transformateur a été repeint avec la célèbre tour, des oliviers, une presse à huile, ...

La Tour du Mont d'Or
The Tour du Mont d'Or is an old watchtower to the south-east of the former Château de Manosque, located in the territory of the commune of Manosque in the Alpes-de-Haute-Provence department.
The Mont d'Or is an old castrum (inhabited area on the heights with bastides, agricultural lands, churches, mills...) explicitly mentioned in the second Charter of Privileges granted by William IV of Forcalquier (1207). The 17m high tower represents the remains of the old keep, it is exposed to all winds, hence its name "Mont d'Or" which was formerly written "Mont d'Aure" (from the Provencal auro which means "wind").
At the top of this hill you can see this tower but all around, today, there are olive groves.
