On an angled, grey stone plinth is a bolted-down bronze plaque, which is in a square enclosure, of brick pavers on three sides, and the concrete kerb on the fourth. The Dedicated Tree (an unknown species of Gum Tree) is surrounded with fine wood chips, and has a slight lean out towards the road. The plaque has the following punched, (or engraved) inscription:
IN MEMORY OF
FLIGHT'SGT. E. P. SMITH
WHO PAID THE SUPREME SACRIFICE
During WORLD WAR II
1939 - 1945
Address: Memorial Avenue, Merrylands, NSW, 2160, Australia
Visited: 0853-4, Friday, 28 December, 2018

* While there are (I believe) x 44 Dedicated Trees on Memorial Avenue, for the locals who lost their life during World War 2, I was not able to get photos of each, as I had to leave Merrylands early. *
