"Founded Feb. 5, 1900 by W. K. Smith. C. A. O'Keefe, J. D. Wulfjen, L. E. Seaman and J. E. Hooper, the City National Bank of Colorado City has occupied four buildings, including its present $330.000 home, according to Charles C Thompson, present chairman of the board and president. The modern banking home, one of the most imposing structures in Colorado City, was completed in April of 1960."
