On a very cold, or hot day, be aware of the ability that this Dedicated Bench may cause unwarranted discomfort. It is about two metres wide, and made of 5 hollow extruded aluminium slats each for the seat and backrest, with a semi-circular slat at the front and at the top of the seat. The slats are strengthened by having a metal strap in the centre of the backrest and the seat. The ends of the slats are held into the cast aluminium ends, that have protruding armrests at either end. This Dedicated Bench is different in that the plaque is embedded in a concrete plinth directly below the backrest. It reads:
