This sculpture of a mother cougar and her two kittens was dedicated in 2017 for the 60th anniversary of the Town of Hinton, which was 2016. The plaque states that the cougar is the mascot of the community. Primary funding for the sculpture was provided by the Town of Hinton. It is located at the front of the Hinton Visitor Centre.
