FR La région de la Provence Verte est très sèche en dehors des cours d'eau apparaissant aux failles du terrain comme à Barjols ou Cotignac. Mais il y a de l'eau au sous-sol, parfois pas trop profond. Dans cet ancien puits, la surface de l'eau est à deux mètres.
Tout autour, des "restanques", des terrasses se succédant, retenues par des murets de pierres qui composent des escaliers géants.
Si plus haut une maison aurait pu être construite (le sol y a été aplani mais pas de trace de mur), ici, que ces restanques comme on en voit sur beaucoup de pentes de Provence.
Le puits est rond, haut de 70 cm environ au dessus du sol pour 1,5 m de diamètre. Une ressource nous apprend que sa profondeur est de deux mètres.
EN The region of Provence Verte is very dry outside the watercourses appearing at the faults of the terrain such as Barjols or Cotignac. But there is water in the basement, sometimes not too deep. In this old well, the water surface is two metres away.
All around, "restanques", successive terraces, held back by low stone walls that make up giant stairs.
If higher up a house could have been built (the ground was levelled but no trace of a wall), here, that these terraces as we see on many slopes of Provence.
The well is round, about 70 cm high above the ground and 1.5 m in diameter. A resource tells us that its depth is two metres.
