Tomb of Sir Daniel de Ligne (d.1656) and his wife Elizabeth (nee, de la Fontaine, d.1682) in the north Trinity Chapel of St Mary & St Peter's church, Harlaxton.

He bought the Manor after escaping from religious persecution in Flanders. He was knighted in 1619 and was High Sheriff of Lincolnshire in 1631.

The inscription on the black marble lid reads:
Sir Daniel De Ligne died the 20th
day of March 1686
The Lady Elizabeth his wife
died the 25th of Aprill 1682
