Cette tour de guet est située à côté de la palissade à l'intérieur du fort Ingall et surplombe le lac Notre-Dame-du-lac. Construit entre 1839 et 1841, sous la supervision du lieutenant Lennox Ingall de l'armée britannique afin de protéger la région du Madawaska des incursions américaines appréhendées. La tour a été utilisée pour détecter la présence de forces américaines, ainsi que des incendies de forêt.
