This is a one story building with two chimneys and a tile hipped roof; it is made of rubble stone with stone quoins and foundations. The one story verandah is an unlined iron roof with a stone floor and turned wood columns. Cedar joinery. The windows are sashed and twelve paned. Exterior shutters wrap around and all the sills are stone. All other doors are four pannelled with double doors to front rooms with handplates.
The tall pine tree has been reduced to a large stump with one branch & the house itself is now surrounded by Illawarra fig trees, shrubbery & hedges.
It is located on the corner of Hartwell Crescent & Bourrool Street.
