In front of the Chemistry/Pharmacy/Physics building on the campus of Southwestern Oklahoma State University is the Dr. H.F. Timmons Memorial Garden. This is a two-segment garden bordered by a four foot high semi-circular brick wall.

Dr. Timmons (12/28/1927 - 2/11/2014) taught in the Department of Biological Sciences from 1956 until his retirement in 1994. He was the founding member of the Southwestern Pharmacy Alumni Association Council, and scholarship and endowment are named after him.

A bronze plaque on the garden wall reads:
