Mit einem Besucherrekord ging das 5.Schlossleuchten rund um das Schloss Drachenburg in Königswinter zu Ende. Mehr als 22.000 Besucher zählten die Veranstalter von "World of Lights", die für ihre Illuminationen bekannt sind und bescherten ihnen damit einen neuen Rekord.
Vom 25. Januar bis zum 24. Februar 2019 fand hoch über den Dächern von Königswinter das 5. Schlossleuchten statt. Wolfgang Flammersfeld, seines Zeichens Lichtkünstler, installierte knapp 400 Lampen, mehrere Projektoren und endlos erscheinende Kabel. Das Schloss, der Park und die sonst geschlossenen Räume, sowie die Nibelungenhalle brachte der 66-jährige Flammersfeld zum Strahlen. Entgegen der bisherigen Jahre, wollte Flammersfeld in diesem Jahr das Schlossleuchten nicht unter ein bestimmtes Motto stellen, da es zu sehr einschränken würde, so ein Statement von ihm.
Der besucherstärkste Tag war der frühlingshafte Samstag (17.02.) mit rund 4000 Besuchern. Für das Jahr 2020 laufen bereits die Planungen und wird ganz im Zeichen des Beethoven-Jahrs stehen. Es werde interaktive und musikalische Elemente geben, so Flammersfeld. Rund um das 3.Wochenende im Januar wird das nächste Schlossleuchten stattfinden! With a record number of visitors, the fifth round lights around Drachenburg Castle in Königswinter came to an end. More than 22,000 visitors counted the organizers of "World of Lights", who are known for their illuminations, giving them a new record.
From January 25 to February 24, 2019, the fifth castle lights took place high above the rooftops of Königswinter.
