"Located in downtown Whittier on the west side of Greenleaf Avenue, the Hoover Hotel is a six-story, reinforced, concrete structure designed in the Spanish Colonial Revival style. With the exception of the ground floor, the building has remained substantially unaltered from the time it was constructed in 1930. During the 1950s, the interior and exterior of the building were remodeled. In 2001, the rehabilitation of the building was completed. During that time, many of the character-defining features of the ground level were revealed and restored. The upper stories were converted to senior citizen housing." (visit link)
