Herr Josef Natterer erstellte eine große Anzahl von Fotografien der Stadt Wangen welche zu Postkarten verarbeitet wurden.
Auf dieser Postkarte sieht man das Frauentor und das Ritterhaus.
Den markanten Abschluss der Herrenstraße bildet das Frauentor.
Wann es gebaut wurde, ist nicht überliefert.
Vermutlich besteht es seit der Stadtgründung im 12. Jahrhundert.
In den Urkunden ist das Stadttor, das auch Ravensburger Tor genannt wird, erstmals 1472 erwähnt.
Seine heutige Form erhielt es wie das Martinstor im Jahr 1608 und trägt seither die Handschrift der Renaissance.
1988 wurde es zuletzt außen renoviert.

Mr. Josef Natterer created a large number of photographs of the city of Wangen which were processed into postcards.
On this postcard you can see the Frauentor and the Ritterhaus.
The distinctive completion of Herrenstraße is the Frauentor.
When it was built, is not known.
Presumably it exists since the city was founded in the 12th century.
In the documents the city gate, which is also called Ravensburger gate, first mentioned in 1472.
It received its present form as the Martinstor in the year 1608 and carries since then the handwriting of the Renaissance.
In 1988 it was last renovated outside.

Vom Marktplatz aus folgt man der Herrenstraße in Richtung Norden bis zum Eiscafe Capri(WMZ69K) bzw bis zum Adlerbrunnen von wo aus das Referenzfoto erstellt wurde, oder man geht von angebenen Parkplatz durch die Zunfthausgasse und erreicht von dort ddie angegeben Referenzpunkte

From the market square you follow the Herrenstraße in the north to the ice cream restaurant Capri (WMZ69K) or to the eagle fountain from where the reference photo was taken, or you go from specified parking through the Zunfthausgasse and reached from there ddie specified reference points
