Plano Parks Website"“Through the Park” by David Hickman, was the first public art project of the City art program. It is an 18 foot stainless steel kinetic sculpture that represents four images relevant to Plano's history - a plow referencing Plano's agricultural beginnings; a locomotive cowcatcher representing the importance of the railroad, children running through the park representing generations of people and an Interurban conductor checking his watch. It was dedicated in 2004 at Haggard Park."
