The two-storey, dark brown brick building is on the corner of Concord Road and Wellbank Street (allowing Fire Engines to exit onto Concord Road, and enter to the rear, from Wellbank Street). There are two caramel-coloured panel-lift doors onto Concord Road, with perspex panels on them. The building has a tiled hip roof. Double-hung wooden windows are used on the upper floor. There is a tall wooden pole at the rear for the raising and draining of used fire hoses.
