As you drive southwest from Bledsoe, TX on Texas State Highway 125, you'll cross the border here into New Mexico and the road becomes New Mexico State Road 125. The two roads are numerically contiguous, which is not often the case on state border crossings. A sign greets travelers into New Mexico, but there is no corresponding "Welcome to Texas" sign on the other side. There is little else to see on this lonely desert highway.
