Zwischen den beiden Zwillings-Hochhäusern Kastor, das an eine Scheibe erinnert, und Pollux, das einem Turm ähnlich ist, steht, umgeben von einer Brunnenanlage seit 1997 die Lichtskulptur "Synergie". Der Züricher Künstler Christian Herdeg (*1942) schuf eine Lichtinstallation aus zwei Fachwerkringen mit farblosen, transparenten Acrylröhren, die jeweils einen Durchmesser von 14 Metern haben. Nachts leuchten diese rot und blau. Die Brunnenanlage, welche die Skulptur umgibt, verstärkt die Wirkung durch die Wasserspiegelung.
Between the two twin skyscrapers Kastor, which is reminiscent of a disc, and Pollux, which is similar to a tower, stands since 1997 the light sculpture "Synergy", surrounded by a fountain. The Zurich artist Christian Herdeg (*1942) created a light installation consisting of two half-timbered rings with colourless, transparent acrylic tubes, each with a diameter of 14 metres. At night they glow red and blue. The fountain, which surrounds the sculpture, reinforces the effect with water reflections.
