The Marlow post office is located at 324 W. Main Street, in this town of about 4600. The post office was established on March 13, 1891. The town was incorporated in 1898.

Hanging in the lobby of the post office is a mural painted on canvas, created by Lew E. Davis in 1942, entitled "Cattle Days". It shows four cowboys in a corral branding cattle. One is standing with a lasso and several cows. The other three are squatting down, holding a cow which is about to be branded.
