"Born in 1955 from the union of two former private properties, Astrid Park, about 2 hectares in size, with its curved layout, pond, playground and a few remarkable trees, was opened to the public in 1960. It is also a place where schools, the Conservatory, the library and the Jambes festival hall meet or simply a place for relaxation and strolls. We can also see the reconstruction of the staircase of the former Town Hall of Jambes, destroyed in the early 1990s.

The playground consists of a few small rectangular or circular fields, covered with fine red-coloured wood chips on which are built two animal-shaped spring scales, six swings and a small climbing tower with wooden roof and slide. A few meters away, a multi-aggressive playground is available for older children because it includes a climbing wall, an inverted slide and a raised monkey bridge accessible by atypical stairs."
