Kitchen Lake, a watershed lake already owned by the Oklahoma Water Utilites Trust, was recently developed into a municipal park. The area was cleaned up and a parking lot with a fishing pier constructed on the southwest side of the lake. The principal recreational activities here are boating and fishing; the 33-acre lake is part of Oklahoma City's "Close To Home" fishing program and has been stocked with largemouth bass, crappie and three types of sunfish.
