Long Description:
A little info about the castle:
Around 1744 this castle was radically rebuilt. Since then it has consisted of a central wing with two short side wings. The courtyard was also rebuilt: A wing was added to the castle side and the existing wings were rebuilt in a classicistic style. The original French garden disappeared. In the early 19th century, probably not long after Baron de Woelmont took possession of it, the east wing of the castle was demolished and a T-shaped complex was created. In the second quarter of the 19th century the moat disappeared as well. An English landscape garden was created. Two semi-circular wings in neo-classical style were added to the service buildings. Finally, in 1874 the classicist castle was demolished and replaced by the current neo-baroque building. The surface area of the park was greatly reduced
