Heritage Park is also known as Wind Energy park, and contains a monument to Oklahoma wind energy. This war memorial was placed by the Weatherford VFW, in conjunction with the VFW Posts in Clinton and Thomas.
The memorial has three tall red granite monuments, angled at the top. There are engravings of the various seals of the armed forces. The left pillar shows "CIVIL WAR" and "WORLD WAR I", with the right pillar reading "KOREA" and "VIETNAM". Two short granite flower urns between the pillars are engraved "CLINTON VFW POST 4465" and "THOMAS VFW POST 5914". In front of the monuments are engraved pavers of those who supported the project financially.
